Amanda Manku Celebrates Best Friend

Skeem Saam’s actress Amanda Manku has taken to Instagram to celebrate a colleague that has become a friend.

Penning a birthday message to Skeem Saam’s Mapitsi Mogau Motlhatswi, Amanda said, “There are friends who become family, and then there are friends who become a part of you. I met @mogaupm, many years ago (I don’t remember when), she was a big fan of mine and couldn’t believe she met me. Fast forward to 2021.

“I really don’t know how we got here but one thing I know is that she’s a part of me. Literally, knows everything about me, it’s scary. If I ever had to commit a crime, she’d definitely know. She was the first person I texted when I was on my way to Limpopo after my mom and grandmother passed away. A couple of hours later, she joined me in Zebediela,

“Listen! I’ll call Mogau and tell her I’m craving balsamic vinegar chips and sour sweets, and don’t be mistaken, she will rock up with them. But besides all that, I appreciate her because we’re so emotionally affixed, the heart to heart conversations we have are out of this world. Unfiltered.

“If there’s one thing she instilled in me, is to be selfless. She’s so selfless, without even trying, genuinely caring and loving. I love you to the moon and back my friend. If I was good with words, I’d write a beautiful what what mara because… sekgowa (English)! I’ll just say happy birthday. Kea go rata blind (I love you)!”

Mogau also took to Instagram to celebrate her birthday. She said, “How it started vs how it’s going. A very happy birthday to me. Thank you God for never forsaking me, for always guiding me and for your constant protection”

Mogau’s Skeem Saam colleagues have wished her a very happy birthday.

Responding to Amanda’s post, Pebetsi Matlaila who plays the character of Mokgadi said, “If only people could witness how in sync.Your fights are always funny 😂 like typical siblings. Skwa wara ka sekgowa …You’ve said enough and your effortless connection with her speaks volumes. I’ve seen it. And it’s genuine”

Mogau thanked Amanda and said, “I love you so much @amanda_manku you are not just my friend, you are literally my sister! Thank you for always being there for me”

Mogau is a loved lady and we wish her an amazing day. Yesterday, the Skeem Saam family lost one of their own Nokuzola Mlengeni who was Sis Ouma on the show. Nokuzola was 59 years old. Tributes are still pouring in.
