Ami Faku Bags Female Of The Year At #SAMA26

Congratulations are in order for songstress Ami Faku, who has bagged her very first South African Music Award (SAMA). The talented singer was nominated for the Female Artist Of The Year for her album Imali, and she has now won the award.
Night 3 of the awards aired last night with Dineo Langa and Donovan Goliath returning back as the hosts of the virtual awards. Ami Faku was nominated along Lady Zamar, Spha Mdlalose, Riana Nel and Manu Grace and she bagged the coveted award.
The Imali hit maker was also nominated for the Best Newcomer Of The Year which was won by Ndabo Zulu and Umgidi Ensemble.
Winning big also were amapiaono pioneers MFR, DJ Maphorisa, Virgo Deep and Kabza Da Small for the Best Produced Album Of The Year for Scorpion Kings.
