Connie Misses Shona’s Random Visits To Set
Losing a loved one is never easy. It takes a mountain of time to finally adjust and get used to them not being close to you or even talking to you. It is such a weird feeling and if we are bring truthful, you never get over it.
Connie Ferguson is no exception to this, she has been going through the most since the passing of her husband, Shona Ferguson.
Connie took to Instagram to let us know she misses her husband’s random visits on set.
She said, “I miss you. I miss your random visits to set. I miss you deliberately trying to annoy me. I miss you crushing on me all the time. I just miss you so much! I love you forever.🕊🤍🤍🤍”
This comes after Connie has decided to go back to work. She took to social media to share a video of herself back on set. Connie can be seen greeting the crew members. We also caught sight of Brutus getting out of his vehicle to greet Mam Connie. He said that her presence has made the whole set lit up.
At the beginning of August Connie opened up about ‘Carpet Thursdays.’ “Today is carpet Sunday. I miss my person. Every Sunday we’d just lie on the carpet and talk about everything under the sun or nothing at all. We’d just lie here and be with each other. I miss his physical presence so much but I feel in spirit that he is still with me.” Shared Mam Connie.
She revealed that since her husband fell ill, she hasn’t had the confidence to lie down on the carpet.
“I haven’t had the guts to lie on the carpet. Since Sho got sick, leading up to his elevation to glory, I just didn’t think that I could do this on my own so today being the 8th day of month eight of one which is 2021, it dawned on me that it is a new day and I bless God for that. I bless God for…I call it the supernatural strength because I don’t know how I am able to do this, it can only be God. I wanted to share a word with you,” she continued.
The actress added that John 14 verses 16 and 17 have given her the strength to carry on.
“When I read this, I just thought about everything that happened and thought about how as Christians we love to say ‘he who is in me is greater than he who is in the world but how much of that do we believe because when things don’t go our way we fall part and feel betrayed and I did. I did. I asked a lot of whys. I asked a lot of why him, he was so young and still had so much to offer. I asked a lot about our plans, what happens to our plans now. So many questions.” She added.
