Focalistic Makes History On “Lockdown House Party”
Focalistic is firmly securing his GOAT status in the space of the amapiano music genre, especially after his history making performance during the latest “Lockdown House Party.”
The musician was part of the history making episode that had a total of three live performances on the popular Channel O television programme that became popular during the lockdown. The show had never in its two season history had a line-up that consisted of more than two live performances. The first was the team up between two of the leading female rappers in the game; Rouge and Moozlie. The two had individual sets and tagged-teamed the last segment by performing their joint hits like “Mbongo Zaka.”
The latest episode consisted of three individual live sets. These included male crooner, Telllaman having his own fire set. Second was the first lady of Sun-El Musician’s record label, El World Music’s Simmy. The “Tugela Fairy” set the stage on fire with her adorable outfit and signature traditional dance moves.

But Focalistic then shut down the party with his classic performance. The musician started the performance wearing the signature and controversial two-piece from previously late-delivery service provider and designer, Macc Gee. However, for his hit single, “Ke Star,” Focalistic had a quick outfit change during his set.

The Lenyora’s feat made him the first performer to attempt and successfully achieve a complete outfit change during their set on the “Lockdown House Party.” Taking to social media to reflect on the history-making move the star wrote that, “I had fun! New music! Outfit change for Blecke ke colour ya manyora.”
But the history making move was not noted by the star, but viewers also labelled his performance as the best one for the night. Tweeps went on the app in their scores to reflect on his achievement and his fast approaching GOAT status. Additionally, he has received rave reviews from fellow industry mates like Tweezy and Lerato Sengadi. Now we just wait for the joint album that he and DJ Maphorisa have promised us, the summer will be in full swing.
