Kuli Roberts: We Want A Better SA For All Not Just A Chosen Few

South African media personality, Kuli Roberts, has had enough with the social issues that have been largely prevalent in the country in recent months. The actress took to Twitter on Friday, 28 August 2020, to express her views on the insignificance of Bills that have been proposed, and has asked the people in power to make a more significant change.

Kuli stated, “All these letters being written r great, can we just be looked after? Stop inflating bills and making it unbearable for Sans to survive. You not Lady Anne Barnard. We want a better SA for all not just a chosen few.”

The Queen star has been vocal about issues close to her heart, and has consistently shared her views about the injustices that have been taking place. “No more letters. We need ACTION and SERVE the PEOPLE.”, she said.

In an interview with 702 published on Friday, 28 August 2020, Kuli stated that she hopes to make a difference in the media as a black public figure, and believes that it is necessary as white South Africans take the lead from people of colour. She also explained that she felt it was important to discourage colourism, as it will influence perpetrators to do the same.
