Congratulations are in order for television personality Minnie and her hubby Quinton Jones. The couple has just welcomed their first child together.

While the birth of her son is a happy time, it has also brought on a whole host of problems. Being an entertainer Minnie knows that people are always using her name to scam innocent people. That headache has now extended to her son. Barely a day after giving birth she was already flagging down fake accounts made using her son’s name. The said account has alread amassed 150k followers on instagram.

She made it clear that her son doesn’t own an social media accounts and will probably never have them until he is old enough to do it himself.

Last week, we speculated that Minnie Dlamini-Jones had given birth and she’s just confirmed just that on Instagram, sharing a picture of their cute newborn.

Last week, Minnie shared snaps of her glowing self and a growing baby bump.

What led her followers to believe that she had given birth were reports that the Becoming Mrs Jones star had reached the nine-month mark last week. This was followed by a Twitter post suggesting that she’s quarter to giving birth.

All eyes have been on the Jaguar ambassador ever since she announced that she and hubby Quinton were expecting their first child together back in September.

“I had so many ideas of how I wanted to reveal my pregnancy and as usual I was looking for something that hadn’t be done before.” Said the Durbanite upon announcing her pregnancy.

For her pregnancy reveal Minnie went back to her roots. “In an attempt to pay respect to my culture, I did some research on how a Zulu pregnant woman looked like back in the day.” She explained. “Our culture is so rich with amazing clothing, patterns, colors and designs, all of which have symbolic meaning.”

Her shoot and outfit were carefully thought and planned out. Every element of her outfit carried a deeper meaning. The pictures where taken from her own yard.

“In this image shot in my backyard, to represent where my child will be raised, I’m dressed in a bespoke Zulu pregnancy apron called “Ingcayi” hand made and beaded by @asandamadyibi”

Our fave has really been spoiled throughout her pregnancy journey. She’s been getting countless gifts from her friends in the industry, family and some designer brands. Not-so-long-ago she was surprised with a third baby shower courtesy of Quinton’s family. She said, “I’m so blessed to be married into a God-fearing and loving family. #BabyJones is one lucky bugger ❤️ This season of my life I call “Abundance of Love.”
