Minnie Stresses Over Decorating Baby Boy’s Nursery

South African media personality, Minnie Dlamini-Jones, is rushing to get her son’s nursery ready as they prepare for his birth which is fast approaching. Whilst the expectant mother has been celebrating her baby with THREE baby showers, it looks like one thing may have slipped her mind – the nursery!

In a tweet shared on Monday, 2 November 2020, Minnie revealed that she is feeling increasingly overwhelmed from the mammoth task that is decorating her baby’s room. She shared that although she believed that she could do it all on her own… it was probably best to call in a professional to alleviate the stress. She stated, “Planning, designing and sorting out the perfect space for a nursery is a lot of work… I’m a bit overwhelmed. I really thought I could do it on my own but I need some professional help. I’m exhausted and feeling like I’m running out of time. That’s it tomorrow I’m getting help.”

Needless to say, Minnie’s followers immediately offered their services and promoted their businesses on her page. The mother-to-be has yet to publicly accept any of their offers, so perhaps she already had an interior decorator in mind.

Ever since Minnie Dlamini announced that she and her hubby Quinton are expecting their first child together, it has been raining baby showers on the mother-to-be. The television star got her first surprise baby shower in Durban organised by her family and her son’s godmother Mam Mkhize.

This was followed by another baby shower in Joburg where she revealed that she and Quinton are expecting a baby boy. “Then I got blessed with friendships after moving to JHB that I feel like have been in my life forever I love you guys so much.” Said the sports presenter. “Looking back at my childhood friendships that have stood the test of time and distance.”

Finally, in late October 2020, Minnie revealed that she recently had a third baby shower courtesy of her in-laws, The Jones’. “Then the Joneses said let’s have baby shower number 3!!! I spent the day with all the women in my husband’s family as well as close family friends and had the most beautiful time.”

With all the celebrating that has been going on, it is no wonder that the expectant parents have had no time to focus on the major stuff. Minnie recently announced her hiatus from her weekly show, Homeground, as she prepared for the months leading up to her precious first born.
