Idols SA finalist and musician Mmatema and her husband finally had their gender reveal. The couple did not know about the gender of their new baby up until the day of the reveal. Following their scan, they asked their doctor to keep it sealed in a letter until the day of the reveal. The two, who have a baby boy, had been praying and hoping for a baby girl.
“We’ve been waiting in anticipation. We don’t know if we’re having a boy or a girl. We asked the doctor to write on a small piece of paper and we’ve been keeping it safe for the past 4 days. So today we are going to have a Braai. It is his Braai. So he going to be doing the Braaing. We just came back from the mall to collect the Balloons. And now we are going to start prepping.” Said Mmatema.
After popping one of the balloons with a note from the Doctor inside, the wait was finally over. “We are having a girl. That’s what they mean about God giving you your desires. I’m so excited. Glory to God.
“Honestly, I’m not surprised because God is faithful. He is faithful to your desires and if you believe in him – he is sure to answer. We already have a name. You guys did not see how many kisses my husband gave me. He was like – thank you so much I love you.” Said the singer.
The excited couple called their family to let them know that they are having a baby girl. Congratulations to the couple and we’re looking forward to seeing that baby content.
Mmatema’s sister is also expecting a baby. The star said that it’s a blessing for her to be able to go on this journey with her lovely sister.
“It’s being blessed with a baby and then having to share the journey with my lovely sister. The prayers we share for each other, the silly cravings we have, changes we keep making fun of and just knowing my baby already has a best friend for life,” she posted.
“Having a sister is like having a best friend you can never get rid of, some even get pregnant with you at the same time, I am so happy that my baby already has a best friend for life. It is such a blessing to be sharing this journey with you Sesi, congratulations on your bundle of joy.
