Nomcebo Signs International Deal

Congratulations are in order for singer/songwriter Nomcebo Zikode. The songstress played a major role in putting together the global smash hit Jerusalema by Master KG.

Yesterday, Sony/ATV announced that they had signed Nomcebo to an exclusive publishing deal. This deal encompasses Nomcebo’s entire music catalogue, including her new smash hit Xola Moya Wam.

Nomcebo is excited about her deal with Sony. She says that everything has been surreal and that Jerusalema has changed her life for the better.

“The experience of having a global hit has been phenomenal. I am very excited to be working with an establishment such as Sony/ATV, the number one publishing company that has such a great global footprint.” Adds Nomcebo. “This year has been unbelievable, with the success of Jerusalema and the great reception of my album “Xola Moya Wam. I look forward to seeing where this relationship with Sony/ATV takes me. I appreciate the trust and belief Rowlin, Munya and the Sony/ATV global family have in me and will strive to deliver only my best.”

The team at Sony International are delighted to sign a deal with one of the hottest artists at the moment. President International of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Guy Henderson believes that the best is yet to come from the star and will achieve great thing under sony.

Nomcebo was born in Kwazulu Natal, Hammersdale. She gained popularity in 2018 after popular DJ, Ganyani featured her on his track Emazulwini. However, since Master KG dropped Jerusalema with her, she’s become a household name locally and internationally. The music video is currently sitting on over 200 million views on Youtube.
