For the past week, if you have been glued to Pearl Thusi’s Instagram like we have, then you would know that the “Queen Sono” lead actress has been hard at work at home. Pearl has been going through all the things she has collected through the years and sorting them out. This past week we have been going down memory lane with the outspoken personality. And she even let us in too the past when her and now best friend, Moozlie were merely just industry mates. But how times have changed, as the two she, Moozlie and DJ Zinhle now make up the formidable “three-amigos.”
One moment she did let us in on that we can also share from her time sorting out all her nostalgic and sentimental pieces was the creativity that her eldest daughter, Thando Mokoena has. Most recently, Pearl has been sorting out all the art pieces that Thando and youngest daughter, Okuhlekonke, have made through the years. A piece she could not get over was the artistic face mask that Thando made for her.
But on a serious note, her following and most recent post on Instagram took a somber but inspiring turn that would melt any heart; even some trolls that love dragging the good sis. Pearl shared an image of herself sitting at the cemetery. In reading the tombstone, “Thusi,” is clearly visible. However, the identity of which parent the star was honoring was unclear until reading the caption.
Pearl was honoring her late mother with the post. Details about Pearl’s mother are available on public record, except the details about the impact that her passing had on her life. Pearl for most her life was raised by her father that she had to lay to rest earlier this.
The star has always spoken fondly of her late mother. So when Pearl received news that she is not ready to share but has indicated is big; she thought it was not a coincidence she found out on her late mother’s birthday.
