Rapper 50 Cent Wants To Work With Vuyo Dabula

Vuyo Dabula is one of Mzansi’s finest actors and American rapper, businessman and producer 50 Cent is very much impressed by him. The rapper turned producer has a highly successful production under his belt, the hit series Power and the newly approved series Black Mafia Family.

50 Cent, real name Curtis James Jackson III was left impressed when he witnessed the talent that is Vuyo Dabula on the hit SABC 1 telenovela Generations: The Legacy. He would love him to feature on his new series Black Mafia Family.

Vuyo Dabula has an impressive resume and has acted on international films such as Avenger’s Age of Ultron and Netflix’s original series Queen Sono. 50 Cent saw the immense character that is Vuyo and saw him as a beautiful fit for his upcoming series.

The rapper took to Instagram to talk more about his upcoming production and expressed how eager he is to work with African stars. Fans of Vuyo mentioned him and much to their surprise, 50 Cent already knows who he is.

The character he is very much impressed by though is Gadaffi who Vuyo plays on Generations: The Legacy. The rapper talked a little more about his upcoming saying, ” I told you, Black Mafia Family was coming and it’s going to be the biggest show on television. Meech and Terry are legends and I’m excited to bring their story to Starz.”

Vuyo has not yet said anything on social media but fans are rooting for him and to accept the offer as this will be a great addition to his already impressive resume.

Vuyo Dabula is also a bodybuilder and model. He is popular for playing Kumkani Phakade aka Gadaffi on SABC 1’s popular drama Generations: The Legacy. He was born in the town of Mahikeng in the North West province. That’s where he matriculated at P.H Moeketsi Agricultural High in 1995. He then enrolled at AFDA in Cape Town.

Some of Vuyo’s more notable roles include an appearance in Avengers Age of Ultron in 2015. In 2017, he played the lead role in the critically-acclaimed Five Fingers for Marseilles. He has also starred as Shandu alongside Pearl Thusi in Africa’s first original series Queen Sono which came out in April of this year. Queen Sono has been renewed by Netflix for a second season.

He was also rumoured to be joining SABC 1’s Uzalo however he laid those rumours to rest, “I can confirm that Dabula has not been hired to join the soapie. Things might change in the future but right now the rumours are FALSE.”
