1.The River : Zolani and Tumi
When your wedding dress is designed by the country’s top designer Gert-Johan Coetzee, and you have Scalo also designing some of the main character’s outfits, you know you’re off to the greatest wedding in soapville history.

Although the characters are no longer together, their wedding is still thee dream wedding of most characters and one of Coetzee’s most expensive soapie weddings to design for.

2.Marothi and Rachel – Skeem Saam
A lot of people were against this wedding; Rachel’s mother, her uncle and even Rachel herself ran away at the altar. We were so glad to have seen her change her mind and marry the man she truly loved. Although the actress left the show and has separated from her onscreen husband, I doubt there’ll be another wedding anytime soon that can top this one.

3.Isidingo : Sechaba and Phindi
When a Mayor and a Geologist get married, you can expect only the best wedding on The Deep. From the bride’s and bridesmaids draped in specially made garments by Orapeleng Modutle, the breathtaking venue and the mouthwatering cake, honestly, this is still 2020’s best wedding in soapville.
