Media personality Somizi Mhlongo left fans stunned after he flaunted his gift on Instagram.
The TV and radio personality received “120 roses wrapped with 120 R100 notes.”
Showing off his gift, Somizi said: “Tjo u can tell how excited I am…It’s so nice to have yo day made unexpectedly,”
Somizi, however, did not reveal who is responsible for the gift. Fans took to the comments section to congratulate him.
Meanwhile, fans are convinced that Somizi has found a new man.
This comes after he shared a picture of himself with singer/songwriter Snethemba Magubane on Instagram.
Somizi captioned the snaps saying that he was enjoying “Kasi vibes” with Snethemba in Alexandra earlier this week.
Fans, however, have since speculated that the two are a couple. Shutting down the rumors, Somizi went back to the post and wrote: “Bathong fam pls rest o never said boyfriend I said boi…..yhu andizi there anytime soon.”

Somizi’s gift reminded us of the time when he bought his husband Mohale Motaung 100 roses to celebrate their 100 hours of marriage.
Sharing his bouquet on Instagram Mohale wrote: “Bae came by my office to give me a hundred roses for a hundred hours of being his Husband. @somizi You’re amazing!”
It may have ended sooner than we thought but they sure did serve some couple goals.
In his recent statement, Mohale urged his fans to afford him space to dissolve their marriage privately.
“I wish to quietly conclude the dissolution of my marriage which is now handled legally and further reserve my right to comment. My focus right now is on my livelihood,” the statement read.
He also added that he never meant to expose Somizi, he said he trusted the person he had the conversation with, this after his audio, opening up about the abuse he suffered in their relationship got leaked.
” I wish to make it clear that it has never been my intention to have the private details of my marriage exposed in the public nor will it ever be my intention to cause disrepute to his image. While I have maintained my silence in the hopes of amicable dissolution of our marriage, recent developments compel me to make the following assertions.
“The conversations heard in the audio were privileged as they were with one of the producers of Living The Dream with Somizi. I trusted the person with whom I was engaging and did not divulge such details for any material gain.”
