Timeslive published an article announcing that the “Idols SA” judge is supposed to have been featured on the album of acclaimed singer, Judith Sephuma. The article is based on a post on an Instagram post that shared one of the collaborations that he has enlisted by the singer to tackle one of his “biggest challenges” yet of his career.

In the post Somizi is in the studio with Judith working on their collaborative song together. Talking about the experience of being in studio and pushed beyond his comfort zone he writes that, “(Judith) was so patient and caring throughout, and (she) coaching me all the way. I do not know what you see in me for you to trust me (to be) on your project. But God bless your heart. Now as I nervously wait for the final product.”
