“The Baby’s Arrival Changed A Lot For Me”

New mom Pearl Modiadie has been opening up about her new journey as a mother and today, she opened about how it has changed her life.

“Life after birth is quite a massive adjustment!” Shared the Metro FM DJ who revealed how motherhood has affected her both physically and psychologically. “The baby’s arrival changed a lot for me physically, psychologically, my daily routine changed as well as my sleeping patterns of course & I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

Pearl, who maintains that she wouldn’t trade being a mom to Oliver for anything says that it’ll take time for her to get used to being a parent. “It’s all taking some time to get used to though, but I feel at ease knowing I’m not alone and that other moms are going through the same thing.”

The star is currently attending classes to learn more about motherhood.

“How do I know this? I’m attending @officialflourishnetwork postnatal classes to learn with and from other moms & I recommend them to any new moms!
Share, learn and have fun!”

On the 18 of October 2020, her child Oliver Lewatle turned one month old and to mark the special occasion, Pearl gave us a glimpse into her baby’s beautiful nursery.

“My baby turns 1 month today & I’m obsessed with his nursery! 🎉This is where most of our bonding time takes place and I couldn’t have created this space without @bespokebabies_southafrica !! You dream it, they create it.”

In the first few weeks of the birth of her son, Pearl reminded women to do the things that make them happy, even if it’s something simple.

“…it’s so important to do the things that bring you back to ‘yourself’. Even if it’s putting on some make-up & hair so you can lounge in your pj’s.
#postpartumlife. Also loving the fact that I get to to radio remotely, in my bedroom… wearing pj’s…score!”
