She has just joined the Composers, Authors and Publishers Association (Capasso) as a board member.

The 41-year-old singer spoke to Daily Sun about her new venture.

“I was a candidate to be on the board, and we were nine. We had to present our manifesto and motivate for our position. I got to be elected like that,” she said. Brenda said it’s a step towards empowering creators in the industry.

 

 

 

 

 
“But also in my career because I’m very passionate about the music business. I love empowering women in the industry to look in the business side of music, and the opportunity to sit on the board and make the decisions that empower creators is something I don’t take lightly.
