Inappropriate? Uncle Waffles slammed over Prince William outfit

Uncle Waffles – real name Lungelihle Zwane – has been criticised for her choice of clothing when meeting Prince William at the Earthshot Awards on Wednesday, 6 November.

UNCLE WAFFLES CRITICISED OVER ATTIRE IN PRINCE WILLIAM PICS
After her upbeat performance at the Earthshot Awards, Uncle Waffles joined fellow entertainers Diamond Platnumz and Lebo M in meeting Prince William.

The popular female DJ wore a crocodile-print bra adorned with spikes that showed her cleavage, bare belly, and open back. The 24-year-old paired it with matching jeans and metallic heels.

@MissLihleM: “She could have worn something more classy. There’s a place and time for every outfit.”

@tlou_maba2: “I’ll be so damn embarrassed if I was wearing like that next to a prince.”

@BabySmeg: “She is shameless. Hai suka!”

While many consider Uncle Waffles meeting Prince William in a bra-style top as inappropriate, it wouldn’t be the first time a royal has met an SA star wearing next to nothing.

Rachel Kolisi’s Earthshot Awards dress was compared to the late Princess Diana’s ‘revenge dress’.

Rachel Kolisi – the soon-to-be ex-wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi – has been compared to Prince William’s mother, Princess Diana, after she rocked the red carpet in a “revenge dress”.

Rachel was a VIP guest at the 2024 Earthshot Awards ceremony, which was held on Wednesday, 6 November, at the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens in Cape Town.

Like Diana, Rachel is going through a public divorce and has made her first appearance since the news of the marriage split.

RACHEL KOLISI ROCKS ‘REVENGE DRESS’?
In clips posted online, a glamorous Rachel Kolisi is seen walking the red carpet at the 2024 Earthshot Awards.

The mom of two wore an off-shoulder black evening dress. She paired it with sparkly earrings and a bracelet. Like Siya, Rachel did not wear her wedding ring on her finger.

Rachel’s dress was courtesy of the sustainable fashion brand Style Rotate, which rents out red-carpet dresses to the public. According to the Springbok WAG, she is a big fan of the eco-friendly brand.Eagled-eyed fans were quick to spot the similarity between Rachel Kolisi’s dress and the late Princess Diana, whose “revenge dress” made headlines more than 30 years ago.

Similarly, Princess Diana – who at the time was going through a high-profile split – wore a little black dress (LBD) on her first red carpet since news of her divorce.

The gown featured an off-the-shoulder, figure-hugging silhouette.

SIGNIFICANCE OF PRINCESS DIANA’S LBD
More than 30 years ago – on 29 June 1994 – Princess Diana wore a LBD to a formal dinner at the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens.

Interestingly, Diana wore the daring dress just hours after her then-husband, Prince Charles, confessed on an ITV documentary that he had been unfaithful to her.rachel kolisi, siya kolisi
Like the late Princess Diana, Rachel Kolisi was described as wearing a ‘revenge dress’ after her marriage split announcement. The Springbok WAG – who has split from captain Siya – wore it at the Earthshot Awards. The event was attended by the late royal’s son, Prince William.

According to sources, the dress was seen as “revenge” over Charles’s affair, which she had known about.

Designer Christina Stambolia compared the off-shoulder mini dress to the black swan Odile in Tchaikovsky’s ballet Swan Lake, claiming that Diana “chose not to play the scene like Odette, innocent in white.

“She played it like Odile. She was clearly angry.”

Grandpa Musa Mseleku Breaks Silence and Introduces Grandson to the World

In a surprising move, renowned reality TV star Grandpa Musa Mseleku has shared a personal moment with his followers by unveiling his grandson on social media. Musa, best known for his appearances on the polygamous reality show *Uthando Nesthembu*, posted a heartwarming image of his grandson, alongside his full name: Nzulu Mbewuenhle Lubanzi Mseleku.

Defying Family Wishes

Musa’s public reveal of his grandson was unexpected, particularly because Vuyokazi, his daughter and the mother of Nzulu, had kept her son’s identity hidden from the public. Vuyokazi had made a conscious decision to maintain privacy around her child, shielding him from the limelight that often accompanies the Mseleku family. Despite this, Grandpa Musa chose to share the joy of his new grandchild with his followers on social media, much to the surprise of his fans and family members.

The post, which was accompanied by several heart emojis, reflected Musa’s pride and excitement over the arrival of the newest member of the Mseleku family. His fans, who are familiar with the family’s public life, were equally shocked by this new revelation. It is clear that while the Mseleku family is no stranger to public attention due to their lifestyle and reality show, this particular family member had been deliberately kept out of the media spotlight until now.

The Significance of the Name

Nzulu’s full name, *Nzulu Mbewuenhle Lubanzi Mseleku*, stands out due to its unique blend of cultural and modern elements. In South African communities, names often carry deep meaning, and Nzulu’s name is no exception. The choice of his name could indicate a connection to the family’s heritage and traditions, as well as a hope for a bright future.

Grandpa Musa also provided some additional context by sharing geographical information in the post, mentioning *Nduey Cyan Mihlali Sithelo Eastern Cape*. Though the significance of these details remains unclear, they have sparked curiosity among fans, with many speculating on their possible cultural or familial importance.

### The Family’s Private Life

While the Mseleku family has always been in the public eye due to their unconventional polygamous lifestyle, this incident highlights the delicate balance between personal privacy and public exposure. Vuyokazi’s decision to keep her son’s identity a secret was clearly motivated by a desire to protect him from the media’s gaze, something that is common among many celebrity families.

It remains to be seen how Vuyokazi will react to her father’s public decision to share her son’s details. While it’s possible that she may not be pleased by his actions, the positive reception from the public and the outpouring of support could influence her perspective on the matter.

### A New Star in the Making

As Grandpa Musa’s post continues to gain traction on social media, Nzulu Mbewuenhle Lubanzi Mseleku is already becoming a topic of conversation among fans. Given the public’s fascination with the Mseleku family, Nzulu may soon become a public figure in his own right. However, the ongoing debate about family privacy versus public interest could continue to play out in the coming weeks.

The introduction of Musa’s grandson to the world has sparked more than just excitement—it has ignited a broader conversation about the boundaries between personal life and celebrity, as well as the responsibilities that come with living in the public eye.

**Conclusion**

The introduction of Nzulu Mbewuenhle Lubanzi Mseleku by his grandfather, Musa Mseleku, marks a significant moment in the Mseleku family’s public journey. While the announcement may have defied family wishes, it has certainly captured the attention of the public, setting the stage for a potential new chapter in the family’s media presence. How this situation will unfold remains to be seen, but for now, Nzulu’s debut on social media is a moment of pride for his grandfather and a new twist in the Mseleku family’s story.

‘Show me proof of payment’: Solly Moholo’s daughter lashes out

‘Show me the proof of payment of the donation money I ate,’ Solly Moholo’s daughter responds to viral videoby Nomonde Simelane
SOLLY MOHOLO AND LOUISA MOLOKOANE/ PICTURE: INSTAGRAM
It appears the controversy surrounding gospel singer Solly Moholo’s death is yet to die down as his daughter has come out guns blazing to respond to internet users who condemned her for a trending video where she is seen splurging on an extravagant shopping spree.

A month after the passing of one of mzansi’s most loved gospel singers, the country was not expecting to see his youngest daughter, Louisa Molokaone trending for spending an excessive amount of money on some retail therapy. This comes after the singer’s family appealed to the public for donations towards his medical bill before his death.

In an emotionally charged rant, Louisa defended herself and her family against critics, shutting down any speculation of the family spending money that was donated for her late father’s hospital bills, or any policy payout as many had speculated.

“I dare you to show me proof of payment of the donation money I ate,” she begins her lengthy post.

According to Louisa, neither she nor her family could have spent any money that was donated by the South African public as only one person donated to the family. Furthermore, she highlights the battles and challenges that the family faced

“It is heartbreaking how you can twist a situation you know nothing about, the fact I had to address this is hurtful. And no it’s no policy money either,” her post reads.

This response left a bitter taste in mzansi internet user’s mouths as many argued that if the family did not receive donations as per Louisa’s comment, and the money she is currently spending is not an insurance payout, then forking out money for the medical bills would not have been an issue for the family.

“All those bags are worth what you guys were asking for in donations. Why didn’t you pay for your father’s hospital bills if you had the money all along? Why ask for handouts?” one user asks.
