What to expect from Mduduzi Mabaso’s role in ‘House of Zwide’

Hey there, soap opera aficionados! If you’re a fan of the drama and intrigue that comes with the world of e.tv’s House of Zwide, then you’re in for a treat. The show is about to get a whole lot spicier with the return of Mduduzi Mabaso, who’s stepping back into our screens as Msizi, Faith Zwide’s long-lost brother. And let me tell you, he’s looking suave and sophisticated, a far cry from his previous role in BET’s Queendom, where he played the desperate Prince Andile.

Now, if you remember Queendom, you might recall that it didn’t quite hit the mark. The show faced some serious cash crisis issues, and it seems like Mduduzi took that as a cue to return to his roots at e.tv. For those who have been following his career, he’s no stranger to the channel, having captivated audiences for 14 years as Suffocate on Rhythm City.

So, what’s the scoop on Msizi? Well, he’s just been released from prison and is back in town, but he’s not just looking to reintegrate into society. Nope! He’s on a mission to recover a hidden stash of cash he buried years ago. But hold on, because Msizi’s return is about to stir the pot in ways we can only imagine.

As he reconnects with his sister Faith, the duo will face some serious family drama. Their reunion isn’t all hugs and happy tears; it’s a catalyst for unearthing long-buried family secrets that will lead to explosive confrontations. With Msizi’s magnetic personality and complex character, he’s bound to challenge Faith in ways that will force her to confront her own feelings and relationships.

Can you feel the tension? Faith is already juggling her loyalty to family and the bonds she’s formed in her current life, and Msizi’s arrival is about to shake things up. As he starts to weave himself back into her life, the stakes get higher, and the emotional confrontations are set to be intense.

But that’s not all! In a pivotal twist, Msizi will play a crucial role in the future of House of Zwide. With Funani stepping down, Faith and Nkosi are ready to breathe new life into their fashion empire. And guess what? Msizi’s financial backing is just what they need to make their dreams a reality. But here’s the catch: his investment comes with strings attached. He’s not just looking to help; he’s also trying to launder the money from his past heist.

As the plot thickens, we’ll be left wondering: can Msizi keep his criminal past under wraps while helping to propel House of Zwide toward a prosperous future? Or will his secrets come back to haunt him—and Faith—when they least expect it?

Get ready for a rollercoaster of emotions, secrets, and shocking revelations as Mduduzi Mabaso takes on the role of Msizi. Trust me, you won’t want to miss a moment of the drama unfolding on House of Zwide!

“Maskandi Singer Mzomuhle Mnyandu’s Striking Resemblance to Controversial Sibusiso Gcabashe Sparks Confusion”
In the vibrant world of Maskandi music, a new artist is making waves, not just for his musical talents but for his striking resemblance to the infamous Sibusiso Gcabashe.

Maskandi singer Mzomuhle Mnyandu impersonating the late Sibusiso Gcabashe persists
Mzomuhle Mnyandu, hailing from Nquthu in northern KwaZulu-Natal, has caught the attention of many Maskandi fans who can’t help but notice his uncanny likeness to Gcabashe—a man who once made headlines for a highly controversial impersonation.

Sibusiso Gcabashe became a household name in 2012 when he was arrested for impersonating the late Maskandi star Mgqumeni Khumalo. Khumalo, a beloved figure in South African music, passed away in 2009, but Gcabashe shocked the nation by claiming to be the award-winning artist risen from the dead.

This bold claim drew massive crowds to Mgqumeni’s home in Nquthu, as curious fans and believers flocked to witness what they thought was a miraculous resurrection.

The story even captured international media attention, creating a frenzy that left the nation divided—some believed Gcabashe’s story, while others remained skeptical. Mzomuhle Mnyandu, who now goes by the stage name Sibusiso Gcabashe, finds himself constantly having to clarify that he is not the same man who stirred so much controversy over a decade ago.

Despite his repeated attempts to explain the difference, Mnyandu has grown weary of addressing the confusion.”I’ve had to explain myself so many times, but now I’m tired of it,” Mnyandu said when asked about the situation.

His frustration is understandable, given the shadow that Gcabashe ’s actions have cast over his burgeoning career. The stigma attached to the name Sibusiso Gcabashe persists, making it challenging for Mnyandu to establish his own identity in the music industry.

The Maskandi community in Mzansi remains intrigued by Mnyandu’s resemblance to Gcabashe. Yet, for the artist, the focus is on moving forward and letting his music speak for itself.

As he continues to rise in the Maskandi scene, Mnyandu hopes to leave the past behind and carve out a reputation that is entirely his own.For now, the name Sibusiso Gcabashe will continue to stir memories of the past, but Mzomuhle Mnyandu is determined to write a new chapter—one defined by his talent and not by the controversies of those who came before him.

Chidimma appeals for votes: ‘I’ve faced adversity

Last week, the Nigerian pageant confirmed that the 23-year-old has been fast-tracked as a Top 25 finalist in the competition.

Speaking to the Nigerian Arise News TV channel over the weekend, Miss Universe Nigeria pageant owner Guy Murray-Bruce alleged that South Africans had victimised Chidimma Adetshina based on her Nigerian heritage.

He said: “We’re trying to help someone who has been abandoned. No fault of hers. She is a victim because she has a Nigerian father and a South African mother.”

“I don’t know if it was cooked up. It’s a bit twisted. She was doing so well in the pageant that they wanted to get her out. That’s how I see it,” he said.

Murray-Bruce added that Chidimma had a Nigerian passport and was entitled to participate in the competition.

“Her only crime was being half Nigerian, and that’s where the xenophobia comes in.”
