Sir Trill Wants to Open for Chris Brown, But Mzansi Rallies Behind Naledi Aphiwe

Amapiano star Sir Trill recently expressed his desire to be the opening act for Chris Brown’s highly anticipated South African concert. The US singer, rapper, and dancer, Chris Brown, announced that he will be performing in Mzansi on December 14, 2024. However, while Sir Trill is eager to take the stage before the international superstar, South Africans seem to have someone else in mind — Naledi Aphiwe, a local artist who collaborated with Chris Brown.

Sir Trill’s Appeal to Open for Chris Brown

Sir Trill, a well-known Amapiano vocalist, took to Instagram to share his aspirations, posting, “Mzansi, make me the opening act? Makes sense.” His statement came shortly after Chris Brown revealed that he would be performing at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg as part of his world tour. Sir Trill’s plea sparked a debate among fans, with some supporting his bid to perform at such a prestigious event.

The musician’s request has garnered attention, but not everyone is on board. Entertainment blogger Musa Khawula stirred the pot by pointing out that Naledi Aphiwe seems like the most obvious choice to open for Chris Brown due to their prior collaboration. Khawula took to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), writing, “Sir Trill is asking to be Chris Brown’s opening act, as if we don’t all know it’s Naledi Myongwane’s gig.”

Mzansi’s Support for Naledi Aphiwe

While Sir Trill’s fans showed support for his ambitions, a large portion of social media users rallied behind Naledi Aphiwe. Many believe she deserves the spotlight, particularly because she worked with Chris Brown on his latest album, *11:11*, on the track *Shooter*. Social media erupted with comments advocating for Naledi to take the stage with Brown, praising her talent and prior connection to the star.

One user, @vusi_mygy, commented, “Sir Trill is not on that level. Surely K.O or Kamo Mphela could do better.” Another user, @Fit_Mandisa, added, “Naledi should be the opening act.” There were plenty of similar sentiments, with many users emphasizing Naledi’s prior collaboration with Brown as the deciding factor in their support.

Other fans echoed the same opinion. @D_Bhekza argued, “Naledi would be perfect, she deserves it more,” while @Sizzle_Diva agreed, stating, “I agree Naledi deserves it.” Some were even more adamant, with @Masnackz proclaiming, “We shall fight for Naledi to be part of this show. We don’t want anyone else.”

#### The Rise of Naledi Aphiwe

Naledi Aphiwe’s collaboration with Chris Brown has significantly boosted her popularity in South Africa and beyond. Her vocal prowess and ability to blend seamlessly into international music scenes have made her a fan favorite. Mzansi’s rally behind her shows the country’s pride in her achievements and their desire to see her succeed on even bigger platforms.

Dorothy gets fired from House of Zwide, her husband caused her to lose her job.

In the latest episode of *House of Zwide*, viewers were left in shock as a major scandal unfolded within the prestigious Zwide mansion. Msizi, a key character, discovers that a significant sum of his money has gone missing. This revelation sparks a whirlwind of drama, ultimately leading to the firing of Dorothy, a long-time and loyal employee of the Zwide family, despite her being innocent. In a heartbreaking twist, it is revealed that Dorothy’s own husband is the true culprit behind the theft, yet she is the one who suffers the consequences.

Dorothy Fired for Her Husband’s Crime

When Msizi realizes that his money has disappeared, tensions rise as he investigates who could be responsible. Suspicion quickly turns to the mansion staff, with Dorothy, known for her dedication and integrity, becoming the prime suspect. Despite her long history of service and commitment to the Zwide family, Dorothy is accused of stealing the money, a blow that leaves both her and the viewers in disbelief.

Soon, the truth emerges—it was Dorothy’s husband who had stolen the money. However, rather than the guilty party being held accountable, Dorothy is wrongfully blamed and loses her job. Her dismissal is both shocking and unfair, as she had no knowledge or involvement in her husband’s crime. This devastating turn of events raises questions about loyalty and justice, leaving fans of the show outraged on Dorothy’s behalf.

### The Impact on House of Zwide

Dorothy’s firing sends ripples throughout the Zwide household and has the potential to drastically alter the dynamic among the remaining staff. The decision to terminate her employment highlights the fragility of trust within the mansion, as even a trusted worker like Dorothy is not immune to suspicion when things go wrong. The incident also casts a shadow on Msizi’s character, as his quickness to accuse and fire Dorothy without fully investigating the situation raises concerns about his judgment.

Moreover, this storyline introduces a deeper conversation about the impact of family members’ decisions on one’s career. Dorothy’s husband’s actions have led to her unjust punishment, sparking a debate about accountability in relationships. Fans are left wondering whether the Zwide family will realize their mistake or if Dorothy will remain the scapegoat for a crime she did not commit.

### What’s Next for Dorothy?

Now that Dorothy has been let go, viewers are eager to see what her next steps will be. Will she fight to clear her name and return to the Zwide mansion, or will this devastating blow push her in a new direction? Dorothy’s story arc has gained significant interest, as fans sympathize with her plight and root for her to find justice.

As the drama unfolds, the consequences of Msizi’s stolen money are far from over. The firing of Dorothy could lead to further tension between the characters, particularly between Msizi and his family, as they grapple with the aftermath of the theft. Whether or not justice will be served for Dorothy remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—the intrigue and drama at the Zwide mansion are just beginning.

This episode of *House of Zwide* leaves fans eagerly awaiting the next installment, wondering how the scandal will affect the relationships between the characters and what new twists and turns will come next.

“Skeem Saam Star’s Father Faces Another Bail Battle”

The father of *Skeem Saam* actress Amanda Manku, William Manku, is once again seeking bail after being denied multiple times. The 53-year-old is currently in custody, facing charges related to the tragic murders of his wife, Gladys, and his mother-in-law, Letty Maphothoma, in May 2021. The two women were brutally shot while returning home in Limpopo after fetching water.

William was arrested in January 2024, alongside his girlfriend and an alleged hitman. While his girlfriend’s charges were withdrawn earlier this year, the alleged hitman was denied bail. William himself has faced a series of bail applications, with each one being rejected by the court.

On his latest attempt, William appeared before the Lebowakgomo Magistrates Court, hoping to secure bail based on new facts. However, despite presenting various reasons, the court did not rule in his favor, leaving him in custody. His initial bail application was denied in February 2024, followed by an unsuccessful appeal. Despite these setbacks, William has continued to push for his release, citing new circumstances that he believes warrant another bail consideration.

In June 2024, William instructed his lawyer, Advocate California Mathabatha, to reapply for bail, stating new developments in his situation. Among the reasons he presented were his deteriorating mental health and financial struggles, which he claimed had worsened during his time in custody. He also spoke about experiencing an ancestral calling, which left him feeling tormented.

“If I don’t follow my calling, I’ll go mad or b by my ancestors,” William explained during his court appearance. He further argued that his children were suffering in his absence, stating that they had pleaded for his release due to their worsening living conditions.

“My kids said life isn’t the same anymore. They are struggling, and they need me to come home,” he added. Despite these emotional pleas, the court was not swayed by his new claims and once again denied his bail request.

This latest setback adds to the ongoing legal battle William faces. His next appearance in the Lebowakgomo Magistrates Court is scheduled for Friday, 4 October 2024, where he will continue his fight for freedom.

Amanda Manku, the actress who plays Elizabeth Thobakgale on *Skeem Saam*, has largely remained silent about the case, though she has previously opened up about the devastating loss of her mother and grandmother. The tragedy continues to cast a shadow over her life, as her father remains embroiled in this high-profile murder case.

The case has drawn significant media attention, particularly due to the nature of the crime and the involvement of a well-known public figure’s family. As the legal proceedings continue, many are watching closely to see how this complex and emotional case will unfold.

Actress Nolwazi Shange Accused of Ste@ling R700,000

In a shocking twist from the South African entertainment world, former *Scandal!* actress Nolwazi Shange has found herself embroiled in a major fraud investigation. Known for her acting talent and behind-the-scenes work as a casting director, Nolwazi is now accused of siphoning off nearly R700,000 from a production she worked on. The allegations have raised eyebrows across the industry and are now the subject of a legal investigation.

According to reports from *Daily Sun*, Nolwazi served as the casting director for the production of *Queen Modjadji*, a South African show where her role involved coordinating with agencies to recruit extras. However, sources claim that Nolwazi manipulated payment details meant for the extras, diverting funds into a private account linked to her name.

The scheme allegedly began when Nolwazi altered the amounts on invoices submitted by the extras, then redirected the payments into her own account instead of passing them on to the rightful recipients. Agencies that had been contracted to supply extras for the show started to raise concerns when their payments didn’t come through. Some reportedly even showed up at the production company, Rhythm World, to demand explanations, only to discover that Nolwazi had allegedly embezzled the funds.

Once the fraudulent activities came to light, Nolwazi’s legal team stepped in to try to mitigate the situation. They reportedly approached Rhythm World with an offer: Nolwazi would repay the stolen amount, and in exchange, they would agree not to press charges. However, the offer fell apart, and Rhythm World decided to pursue legal action, officially opening a case against the actress.

Nolwazi, for her part, has denied any involvement in the scheme. She has publicly stated that she has no knowledge of the alleged theft. In a statement, she said, “I don’t know about it. My contract with *Queen Modjadji* ended about three months ago, so I don’t know what this is about.” Despite her denial, the case is now under active investigation by law enforcement.

Captain Tintswalo Sibeko confirmed to *Daily Sun* that a case has been opened and that the police are currently looking into the matter. As the investigation unfolds, both Nolwazi and the production company will likely face further scrutiny. Rhythm World, for now, has decided to handle the legal aspects of the case through their attorneys.

This scandal has the potential to severely impact Nolwazi’s career. Having transitioned from acting to more behind-the-scenes roles, her involvement in such a high-profile fraud case could tarnish her reputation within the South African entertainment industry. For an actress who once had a promising future, the allegations could lead to lasting professional consequences.

The story has captured the public’s attention, with many people closely following the developments. As of now, it remains to be seen whether Nolwazi will be able to clear her name or if this case will be the final curtain call for her career. Stay tuned for further updates as more details emerge from this ongoing investigation.

In the meantime, Nolwazi’s involvement in this fraudulent scheme serves as a cautionary tale for those in the industry. It reminds us that no matter how successful someone may seem, their actions behind the scenes can unravel their career in an instant.

EFF leader Julius Malema addresses b0dy sh@ming comments.

EFF leader Julius Malema

So, it seems Julius Malema is making headlines again, and not just for his usual political firebrand antics. On September 30th, a certain social media user, @SiphoKolanisi1, decided to weigh in on the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader’s health, suggesting he take a break from politics to focus on himself. Of course, you can imagine how that went down!

Sipho tweeted a photo of Malema with a not-so-subtle nudge, saying, “Malema must take a break in politics, and look after his health.” For a guy known for his fiery comebacks, you can guess how Malema responded. He didn’t hold back, replying with a stinging retort that basically said: “Health means fat to you?” A sharp comeback and a touch of sass—classic Malema!

Now, it’s no secret that Malema’s weight has been a topic of chatter for a while now. Back in 2017, EFF member Mbuyiseni Ndlozi even revealed that the Commander-in-Chief was making changes to his diet, cutting down on sugar and getting into a strict exercise routine. Recently, Malema himself has confirmed he’s eating healthier, so it’s clear he’s been working on his wellness.

Ezoic

Despite all this, some fans are surprisingly nostalgic for the “big Malema.” Yep, the Twitterverse can be a pretty fickle place! One user, @Juve_ZA85, chimed in with concern, saying that Malema had lost a lot of weight and it wasn’t looking great. Another user, @realJack08, even went so far as to say he looked “more intimidating” when he was heavier—like his weight was somehow linked to his political presence.

It’s a fascinating phenomenon, really. People have such strong opinions about politicians not just based on their policies or public appearances but also their physical appearance. Malema has always been a figure who exudes a certain charisma and bravado, so when he starts changing his look, it stirs up the masses
