In a heartwarming show of solidarity, support continues to pour in for the Emmy nominated actress, Brenda Ngxoli, with Ferguson Films stepping forward with a generous donation of R50,000.

This significant contribution pushes the total funds raised, spearheaded by TikTok influencer Mandisi Tshingana, to over R100,000.Ngxoli, a beloved figure in South African television, has been notably absent from major productions in recent years, leaving her in a precarious financial situation.


 

 

 

 

Fans and supporters rallied around her after she shared the challenges she has faced, including allegations of long-term abuse from her family. Her candid revelations struck a chord, leading to an outpouring of financial and emotional support.

Ferguson Films, one of South Africaโ€™s most renowned production houses spearheaded by the renowned Connie Ferguson, joined the wave of support, demonstrating the entertainment industryโ€™s dedication to uplifting its own during difficult times.

The funds will undoubtedly provide โ€˜The Queenโ€˜ actress with the much-needed financial stability and support as she works to rebuild her life, and secure a better future for herself and her young daughter.In a heartfelt response, Ngxoli expressed her gratitude. โ€œIโ€™ve cried so much, feeling like no one was listening, but this time, you all did something I didnโ€™t expect,โ€ the SAFTA award-winning actress said in a TikTok video message. Addressing Mandisi Tshingana directly, she added, โ€œMandisi, I have not spoken to you, but I want to thank you for what you did. A lot of people have been giving me support, calling me, and I am grateful.โ€

Ngxoli clarified that while she had not requested financial assistance, the outpouring of help has been deeply moving.
