Despite facing criticism and skepticism from her community, Grace remained steadfast in her dreams of becoming an actress. Her perseverance eventually led her to greater opportunities, such as starring in the 1992 film Bopha and participating in the prominent Sepedi television show Bophelo ke Sempheko in 1985.

Grace’s breakout role came when she was cast as Ipeleng in the popular drama series Backstage.
