‘God knows I needed it’: Brenda Ngxoli grateful for over R100k cash donations

Seasoned actress Brenda Ngxoli is making headlines after opening up about her struggles online.

Against the distressing video, she said she never intended to expose that part of her life on social media.

Despite being one of the most followed stars, Brenda Ngxoli has managed to keep her private life under wraps, leaving many to guess.

Thanks to her huge social media following, she often trends whenever she posts or gets posted. In a now-viral clip, she said, “It was not my intention to post this journey.

“This is something that I thought I would take to the grave with me, but I guess secrets and wounds will one day all come to the forefront.


 

 

 

 
Undoubtedly, the distressing videos have also seen fans and fellow celebrities donating thousands to the seasoned actress.

Award-winning social media influencer Mandisi Ntshangase initiated a fundraising campaign reaching over R100 000.

The influencer took it to social media and revealed that over R50 000 was raised over the weekend.

Mandisi Ntshangase went on to reveal that another R30 000 has been raised. This gesture has since warmed the hearts of many.

Ferguson Films, owned by award-winning actress Connie Ferguson, also generously donated R50 000 to Brenda Ngxoli, who has starred in several of their productions.
‘YOU ALL DID SOMETHING I DIDN’T EXPECT’

However, Brenda Ngxoli has since expressed her gratitude for the donations coming her way.

The seasoned actress also revealed that she never asked for cash donations, but ‘God knows (that she) needed it.’

Brenda Ngxoli said, “I’ve cried so much, feeling like no one was listening, but this time, you all did something I didn’t expect.”

The seasoned actress added, “Mandisi, I have not spoken to you, and I want to thank you for what you did. A lot of people have been giving me support and calling me, and I am grateful.

“I didn’t ask for money, but thank you because God knows I needed it. I was worried about how I’d [provide] for my baby.

“Honestly, I want to thank each and every one of you for reminding me that I am also human.”
