She recorded and posted a video on her TikTok, addressing singer Queen Lolly, who recently guest-appeared on the De Original Careless podcast.
The singer accused the DJ, among other things, of using her to boost the ratings of her podcast, The Venting Podcast.
Queen Lolly then claimed she was warned by Skhotheni’s archnemesis, Gogo Maweni, about what was happening around her and informed her about Skhotheni’s alleged affair with Mseleku”I was not going to address this, but I can see it needs my attention. I’ve never had any sexual encounter with Mpumelelo Mseleku; I swear on my ancestors’ lives. I met him when he came to my podcast. Even my ex-husband would testify to this if he could,” she said in the video.
Skhotheni said she respected her marriage and that a third party was never involved.
“In my marriage, we never fought because of a third person. Just because we are separated does not mean it’s because of a third party,” she said.
Mseleku appeared on episode 7 of Skhotheni’s podcast, where he shared his views about polygamy.
“I love women. I would be lying if I said my father convinced me to be a polygamist. If I was doing it for my father, I would not be able to continue doing it. I am still going to continue. I won’t say how many women I plan to have, but they are more than my father has,” he said.
Mpumelelo also admitted to stepping outside his then-two relationships to have casual relations with Queen Lolly, whose real name is Nomfundo Shezi.
Mseleku has his own fair share of drama. He was dealing with it recently after his ex-girlfriend and mother of his two children, Vuyokazi Nciweni’s chef beau Xolani Sabelo, paid lobola for her.
The reality star and aspiring polygamist later accused her of denying him access to their children.
Mseleku said he felt he wouldn’t win if he pursued legal avenues as the justice system allegedly favoured the mother.
Nciweni said, “I have no comment to that” when contacted for a response to Mseleku’s allegations.
