‘My Brother’s Keeper’ TV series cancelled

Mzansi Magic TV drama My Brother’s Keeper has been reportedly cancelled.

Famous entertainment commentator, Phil Kgopholo broke the news on X platform.

He said the series will not be renewed for season 3.

“The Rhythm World Productions produced telenovela will not be renewed for a third season,” Phil tweeted.

The report has sparked conversations about the drama on social media, with a majority being excited about the cancellation.

“Good riddance, we need stories in other languages,” a Twitter user wrote.

“But honestly, it’s starting to be boring, fighting for the CEO position for 2 seasons, I thought this was going to be about bothers sticking together to fight their toxic Dad or something,” another wrote.

“Damn, so only SABC and eTV telenovelas can truly stand the test of time? I thought this show was doing well and the production looks simple, you’d expect the budget to be reasonable, a tweep commented.
