He modeled for some of the biggest designers and publications over the years … including working with Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Bill Blass while appearing on the cover of Playboy in 1982.White made the jump to acting in 1986 … appearing in several episodes of “Guiding Light” as William Reynolds. He made several other appearances in TV and movies over the years — most recently starring in the 2017 horror movie “Central Park.”

Sello Maake kaNcube’s wife responds to GBV claims

Famous for his role as Archie Moroka on Generations, the Skeem Saam actor was at the Grahamstown event to perform in the stage play The Suit – which he had appeared in 30 years ago at the Market Theatre.

The source, who was also attending the event, said a screaming match between Sello and Pearl occured when the pair returned to their hotel.

“Pearl was screaming and swearing at Sello. The next morning, she appeared with a black eye and broken lips,” the source said.

“The situation is so bad that Sello left his wife behind while she was suffering from pain after the altercation. We don’t know the reason for the latest fight,” added the friend.

Another source claimed that the couple puts up a united front in public.

“That man feels trapped in that marriage because Pearl knows a lot about him and she has people who will always clean her image while portraying him as a villain,” added the source.

PEARL DENIES THE CLAIMS
Responding to reports, a livid Pearl said: “Why is it that every time something is happening between my husband and I, there are sources who are telling you our problems.”

She further claimed that everything between her and Sello was good.

“How I wish people could just and give you a break!

She continued: “In what may seem like me coming to your defense, the truth is being with you has elevated me to heights I never thought possible. I’m sending you love and strength in this trying time of our lives. I will forever love you and your spirit shall and will remain unshaken. YOU ARE A GOOD MAN. Father, son and a sibling. ‘Mpho Sebeng was on my prayer list of actors’: ‘016FM’ star Joseph Sedibo

Sebeng, who was 31-year-old, lost his life in a car accident in Potchefstroom on 5 May.

‘016FM’ ACTOR JOSEPH SEDIBO HAD ALWAYS WANTED TO WORK WITH MPHO SEBENG
Opening up about working with the late Savage Beauty star, Sedibo – who is also currently on Showmax as Mkhonto on Empini – said it was an honour.

“It was such an honour working with him. Mpho was one of the people on my prayer list that I’ve always wanted to work with, so when that happened I was ecstatic.

“He was such a great demonstrator, especially when it came to all the stunts we did. Mpho taught me so many stunt techniques. Most of the stunts that viewers will see between him and I were facilitated by him.

“He was such a talented man and funny too. Sometimes when working, I’d want him to finish his lines because I’d want to break out of character and just laugh.

From humble beginnings at the Market Theatre to appearing on Rhythm City to acting on two Showmax Originals, it is clear that his star is on the rise. The Duma Ndlovu Academy graduate revealed that one of his acting dreams was to be on a Sotho show.

His character, DJ Tsietsi, is nothing like him, Sedibo shared.

“DJ Tsietsi and I are worlds apart. DJ Tsietsi is shy and reserved, whereas I’m loud and energetic. I’m more confident in my own skin than him; he’s such an awkward person. However, I do relate to some of his experiences, like losing a parent and being very much independent.”

Netizens on Ayanda Thabethe’s ‘Rolls Royce’

AYANDA THABETHE’S MAN PETER MATSIMBE ‘GIFTS’ HER A ROLLS ROYCE
In recent pictures, Ayanda shared images of her new car, which costs millions of rands, in her “June photo dump”.

Ayanda and her man, who is a controversial businessman, may not be seen together often, but the pair do show off their expensive holiday trips, their R19.5 million upmarket home which was reportedly on sale and their exotic cars.

Almost a week ago, Matsimbe sparked buzz online with photos and videos of his new Ferrari SF90 Spider, reportedly valued at R14 million.

This comes a year after Ayanda shared images of her luxury R4 million valued Mercedes Benz Maybach, which was also allegedly bought by Matsimbe as a “push present” after the birth of their second baby last year

BACKLASH ON X
However, the expensive gifts and affluent lifestyle always sets tongues wagging due to negatives reports about Matsimbe’s business dealing.

CORRUPTION AND FRAUD REPORTS
Last year it was reported that Ayanda’s partner is facing fraud allegations dating back to 2019. At the centre of the fraud allegations are 10 luxury cars that went missing while in his possession.

The publication reports that court papers filed in August 2019 reveal Matsimbe used fake documents to receive funding from the bank to purchase luxury vehicles from various dealerships. He reportedly did this through his company called Matsimbe and Co.

Some of the cars purchased include a Toyota Hilux, Toyota Land Cruiser, Lexus SUV, Lexus LX, Mclaren MP4 coupé, BMW X5 SUV, Can-Am Maverick, Audi Q3, a Nissan Navara and a Volvo mechanical horse.

In 2019, Standard Bank was allegedly granted a court judgement to get the cars back from Matsimbe which he reportedly ignored. This resulted in the bank obtaining a warrant of committal for contempt of court against Matsimbe.

According to reports, the warrant ordered Matsimbe to be arrested for 30 days. However, only two cars were recovered; the Mclaren and the Volvo.
