The car boasts a turbocharged 3.0-litre V-6 engine. According to reports, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds. Melusi Buthelezi has also been spotted driving around in a Toyota Hilux bakkie, which he often posts on his social media accounts.

Bakkie prices tend to vary by model, year of manufacture, and trims. However, one can purchase a Toyota Hilux 2.0 single cab for R380 000. However, some bakkies cost over a million.
