However, the South African actress has been trending since she opened up about her struggles in a now-viral video.

The video came after Brenda Ngxoli’s distressing videos flooded online. In one of the videos, she was having a heated argument with her mother.

Against the videos, fans and fellow celebrities have undoubtedly raised thousands in donations.

Award-winning social media influencer Mandisi Ntshangase initiated a fundraising campaign that has since raised over R100 000.


 
The influencer took to social media to reveal that over R50 000 was raised over the weekend.

Mandisi Ntshangase went on to reveal that another R30 000 has been raised. This gesture has since warmed the hearts of many.

Ferguson Films, owned by award-winning actress Connie Ferguson, donated R50 000 to Brenda Ngxoli, who has starred in several of their productions.

With thousands still being donated to the seasoned actress, media personality Somizi Mhlongo took to Instagram to share Brenda Ngxoli’s booking details.

Media personality Somizi Mhlongo captioned the post, “Can the spirit of BOOKED AND BUSY locate this talented queen? Promoters, corporate, etc, do your thing.”

This gesture has since wowed many. In recent years, she hasn’t starred in a big budget, and Somizi’s post left many convinced that she might bounce back on small screens soon.

Since being posted online, the post has gained thousands of comments and reactions. With this gesture, he joins many celebrities who have supported Brenda Ngxoli amid her woes.

However, Brenda Ngxoli has since expressed her gratitude for the donations. She said she never requested any financial assistance but was grateful for the gesture.

Brenda Ngxoli said, “I’ve cried so much, feeling like no one was listening, but this time, you all did something I didn’t expect.”

The seasoned actress added, “Mandisi, I have not spoken to you, and I want to thank you for what you did. A lot of people have been giving me support and calling me, and I am grateful.

“I didn’t ask for money, but thank you because God knows I needed it. I was worried about how I’d [provide] for my baby.

“Honestly, I want to thank each and every one of you for reminding me that I am also human.”
