Rapper Reason, also known as Sizwe Alakine, has addressed speculation about his supposed romantic relationship with award-winning rapper Gigi Lamayne.
SIZWE ALAKINE RUMOURED TO BE DATING GIGI LAMAYNE
The rapper addressed the rumours following a tweet from MDN News, which reported that ZiMoja claimed the two rappers are in a romantic relationship.
ZiMoja reported that a source informed them that the “new couple” was seen recently at the famous Kwa Mai Mai eatery in downtown, Johannesburg.
The two appeared to be comfortable with each other while filming a TV episode. Sources suggest that the new couple has been seeing each other for several months, and their relationship seems to be thriving.
“They make sense as a couple. They get along and they both love music,” added a source.
“They are both private people and do not want their relationship to be out there. For now, they will not publicly admit to being in a relationship,” said the source.
SIZWE AND GIGI DEBUNK DATING RUMOURS
Another source claimed that the two music lovers are working on a song together.
However, when the publication reached out to Gigi for a comment, she categorically dismissed the rumours, stating that she and Sizwe are just friends and have been working on her latest single together.
Reacting to MDN’s tweet, Sizwe suggested that a source close to the relationship is needed to spill more beans because the current information is not invalid.
“Kwa Mai Mai??? No ways. I think we need another source close to the relationship for this rumour. Me & Gigi been to Saints, Solo, Signature & even my parents place for Kota’s… & the source chose Kwa Mai Mai?? I say we pause this rumour till we get spotted in better places,” he tweeted.
