Solly Moholo’s family needs your help as he’s hospitalised.

POPULAR gospel singer and songwriter Solly Moholo’s health status has taken a huge turn.

This as the award-winning musician needs cash for his surgery. The musician, whose real name is Solomon Majafela Molokoane, is in hospital after he suffered a stroke while performing in Botswana.

On Friday, 6 September his team released a statement requesting the public to donate to him for his mediation and medical bill. The Thaba ya Sione hitmaker is still in ICU and needs a donation of R700 000.


 

 

 

 

“We refer to the above-mentioned matter and confirm we act on behalf of Mr Solomon Majafela Molokoane, popularly known as ‘Solly Moholo’. We write this letter on behalf of the Molokoane family to formally notify and confirm to the public of a significant and urgent matter concerning Solly Moholo.

“On 22 August 2024, Mr Molokoane commenced a promotional tour in Botswana for his forthcoming album, which is presently scheduled for release on14 September 2024. Unfortunately, during this tour, Solly Moholo suffered a stroke and multiple organ failure, necessitating immediate and extensive medical intervention, including brain surgery,” the statement read.

They further said the musician has been admitted to a hospital for critical medical care and is in ICU.

“The medical costs associated with his treatment have accumulated to an approximate amount of R700 000. Given the substantial nature of these expenses, the Molokoane family is urgently seeking financial support from the public at large as well as his associates and/or supporters to assist in covering his medical costs,” they said.

His team said the financial support during this challenging time would be greatly appreciated and will significantly aid the Molokoane family in managing the financial burden associated with Solly Moholo’s treatment to ensure his speedy recover
