Rachel Kolisi recently set social media abuzz after she flaunted one of the most sought-after Mercedes-Benz.

A week after topping trends with her rumoured Mercedes-Benz CLE 200, Rachel Kolisi took to Instagram to share a clip of a Mercedes-Benz E220 d.

Surprisingly, the post comes barely a few hours after Siya Kolisi took to social media to show off a new sleek Mercedes-Benz C63 with a base price of R2.3 million.


 

 

 
After all, Siya Kolisi’s post also came a few days after Rachel Kolisi topped trends with her R1.4 million CLE 200.

No doubt, the timing has since convinced many that it’s a battle for Mercedes-Benzs between the once-powerful couple. Could it be a battle or just a coincidence?

Is Mercedes-Benz cashing in on free advertising from the couple that recently called it quits? The South African has since established that several ‘friends of the brand’ are receiving new whips.

Like other big names who are ‘Friends of the Brand,’ Rachel Kolisi’s post undoubtedly shows her great bond with the company she joined against Siya Kolisi’s newfound fame.

In 2021, Siya Kolisi joined a range of elite athletes worldwide who are “Friends of the Brand” for Mercedes-Benz.

Despite her divorce from Siya, Rachel Kolisi still has some close ties with Mercedes-Benz SA.

However, petrolheads have since given the R1.5 million Mercedes a nod. Many were convinced it was the 2024 edition. Over the years, the E-Class has been a staple in Mercedes-Benz’s portfolio.

Rachel Kolisi flaunting the latest edition of the E-Class seemingly proves that she has quickly become a brand that the German automobile trusts. Their working relationship still stands ’till the wheels fall off.’In June 2024, Mercedes-Benz SA CEO Mark Raine revealed that the latest E-Class sits at the upper echelons of its segment.

“The 2024 E-Class is the most advanced E-Class ever, retaining that unrivalled luxury appeal and dynamic driving experience. It is a window into the future of Mercedes-Benz,” said Raine.
