TV host and beauty influencer Ayanda Thabethe is making headlines after she got engaged to her longtime partner, Peter Matsimbe, with whom she shares two sons.
The publication has since confirmed that she is engaged to be married to the businessman. Thanks to her huge social media following, she often trends whenever she posts or gets posted.

Ayanda Thabethe has since confirmed the news of her lavish engagement with an Instagram post.
Taking it to the picture-sharing app, the celebrated influencer shared the proposal clip, which has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped online.Ayanda Thabethe captioned the post, “You are the perfect sunset where my quest for love has found its ending and the spectacular sunrise where my most meaningful adventure begins.
“Thank you for the greatest gift of all: your heart and our sons. I am deeply honoured to be your first and only wife, the one chosen to share this lifetime of love with you.”
However, Peter Matsimbe seemingly pulled all the stops to make the proposal priceless. It included an aisle lined with several white flower petals leading to LED lights that read, ‘Will you marry me?”
Against Ayanda Thabethe’s post, fans and fellow celebrities flooded her comments section with congratulatory messages.

Despite the priceless moment making headlines, the two have made headlines with their relationship.
In 2022, shortly after the announcement of her first baby, claims that Peter Matsimbe was an unfaithful husband started circulating. However, in a combined statement, the couple rubbished the rumours.
“We make this statement on behalf of Ms Ayanda Thabethe, who is supported by her partner, referred to as ‘PM’.
“The rumour that Ayanda Thabethe is in a relationship with a married man is not true and we have not been provided with evidence proving otherwise. PM is not in any marriage or union recognised by the law,” read the statement in part.
In September 2023, the two welcomed their second son.
Ayanda Thabethe confirmed the news with an Instagram post: “If you think my hands are full, you should take a look at my heart…Praise be to Jesus Christ / 09.09.23.”
She shared a picture of herself cradling her newborn in the backseat of a car.
