Mona Opens Up About Her Healing Journey

Former Muvhango star Mona Monyane recently opened up about her journey of healing. The actress said her journey began when she accepted her ancestral calling.

Mona said she has learned so much. She said it has been a phenomenal journey.

Taking to Instagram, the star wrote: “My journey of healing started with me answering my ancestral calling. I’ve learned so much about African spirituality and it has only drawn me closer to God. Lesedi🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾The Almighty reminds me: “I will never send you somewhere to forsake you”

“It has been a HECK of a phenomenal journey to submit to healing the ego and allowing it to return its faith to a higher power and not the power of the flesh. I have learned that everything under the sun comes from the creator but how we as humans choose to navigate some things in the flesh leads us astray…”

Mona said she is filled with gratitude knowing that God is in control. She concluded her inspiring post by giving God all the glory.

“I came out of the belly of the whale to find that God had not forsaken me EVER.🙌🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰 I was the one who turned away, I was the one who submitted to worshiping the flesh, I was the one who wanted to take charge of my destiny, the timing of my manifestations, the direction of my life.

“Tonight I cried again, in the deepest feeling of gratitude I have EVER experienced because like in my childhood days, I again no longer worry for tomorrow because I have seen, experienced, and felt the undeniable love, favor, and POWer of God working through me and for me. God… “Yes, and Amen” is INDEED Your promise.🔥 I AM in awe of YOU. It truly is God for me🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️,” she wrote.

In her previous post, the actress spoke about human relations with ancestors and how individuals have different experiences with God and ancestors.

Mona said: “Thokozani AboGogo naboMkhulu🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾The other day a Queen I know told me with love and respect that our energies do not align because of how she navigates the Bible… ‘it is clear about human relationships with our ancestors… the two do not mix’… I cannot help but respect her views… I did not write the Bible…man did. But…I felt my heartbreak, ever so slightly…I get her. ‘To each their own…

“I experience GOD differently and so do MANY more. This is my truth AND my light. God and I… We know each other differently… I build my brand with God, I lost a baby with God. A marriage. A home… and my ancestors helped me navigate the feminine and masculine energies that came with healing that pain… WITH God.
