Another Skeem Saam Actress Is Expecting
Skeem Saam actress Dipuo Kgaphola is reportedly expecting a bundle of joy.
Dipuo plays the character of nurse sister Mokarati on the popular show.
According to Daily Sun, the 27-year-old actress revealed that her pregnancy has not been easy.
“This is because I am an artist and we depend on gigs and events to make money. So, I had to work even though I was heavily pregnant because even on the show I stopped shooting my scenes when I was six months pregnant as I looked heavily pregnant.
“The production decided I should take a break and come back later after I give birth. But in terms of precaution, I have been very safe and doing what the regulations say. I haven’t done anything that is out of the ordinary to keep safe or had moments where I was freaking out.”
The actress also told the publication that she is looking forward to welcoming her baby.
“I was really excited when I found out that I am pregnant because I have always wanted to have a baby. I can’t wait to raise my son into a responsible man and love someone wholeheartedly for the rest of my life,” Dipuo told the publication.
Another Skeem-Saam actress who recently announced pregnancy is Innocent Sadiki popularly known as Sthoko on the show.
Revealing the big news on YouTube, Innocent’s twin sister Millicent said: “One of us is definitely a hundred and one percent pregnant. 2021 has been very beautiful for us and eventful. We are counting our blessings and I think in the midst of Covid, this pandemic has been hectic. We are in lockdown most of the time with work being up and down, there is just so much you know.
“But this baby just gave us a reason to celebrate and we cannot wait. Ntombana is going to have a sister. But we are very very excited and we’re so blessed. The baby is coming this year. So, we’re so happy. We are very very happy.”
She continued to say: “As usual, we co-parent our children. This is why in this video we’re saying our baby. That’s basically our family dynamics. I have two boys, Innocent has two girls, we have one little one on the way. So in total, we are going to have how many kids? The sleepless nights have not started. I hear people all the time saying that they want twins. And I’ve got twins. But, I used to cry tears every night and those kids used to cry with me. It was tears everywhere.”
