Gail Mabalane Bags Role In Thriller Film

Actress and mother of two Gail Mabalane has landed a role on a South African thriller called Indemnity.

The movie will premiere on 11 August at Canada’s Fantasia festival, with both physical and virtual screenings.

Gail took to Instagram to announce the good news. She said, “I literally cannot contain my excitement!!! 🥳💃🏾🙌🏾 So proud to be part of another epic @gambitfma production!!! Can’t wait for you to see this!!

This has been A VERY LONG TIME coming. @travistaute @gambitfma I am so freaking proud. God’s timing is always perfect!”

Writer and Director Nosipho Dumisa Ngoasheng took to Instagram to share the good news. She said, “Gambit Films set to release action thriller film “Indemnity” 🍿🎬The film is based on an ex-Cape Town fireman on the run after being falsely accused of killing his wife.

“With a stellar cast starring Jarrid Geduld, Gail Mabalane, Andre Jacobs, Louw Venter, Nicole Fortuin, Abou Adams & Hlomla Dandala we are excited to watch!”

Indemnity is from the producers of Netflix series Blood & Water. The movie was shot during the pandemic and we cannot wait to see how it turns out.
