The Jerusalema Dance Challenge isn’t new to South Africans or the rest of the world, since it went viral a few months ago, it has been done across the whole world. From general workers to essential workers and even celebrities, it has been used to lift peoples spirits during these trying times.

The song, Jerusalema caught the attention of Christiano Ronaldo, arguably the greatest footballer of this generation, where the footballer plays Jerusalema as he spends an intimate evening with his wife.

Even American superstars caught the hype about Jerusalema, where Janet Jackson tagged Master KG more than once because she loved the song so much. While Chance The Rapper, also from the United States of America, was very eager to learn the moves to the Jerusalema Dance Challenge. Chance The Rapper Tweeted “Lets learn this” to Janet Jackson’s Tweet of a group of African guys who were among the first to participate in the Jerusalema Dance Challenge.

Locally, the song has been well received and thousands of people and companies have been doing the Jerusalema Dance Challenge. Takkies, the influencer and choreographer who usually shares her workout and dance videos on Instagram was among the first celebs to take part in the popular Jerusalema challenge with her firstborn Sana.
