Zodwa Wabantu recently exposed her ex-boyfriend Vusi Buthelezi for allegedly being a fraudster. In a viral video, the businesswoman exposed her ex’s dodgy ways.
In her video, Zodwa alleged that Vusi was maintaining his flashy lifestyle using her name. She alleged that he bought his Audi R8 using her name to get a discount and he allegedly stole an undisclosed item from Zodwa.
The dancer’s video divided the social streets with many taking sides on the matter with some people, especially Mzansi men taking Vusi’s side for doing Zodwa dirty.
On Twitter Mzansi men couldn’t help but stan Vusi for dribbling Zodwa and allegedly teaching her a lesson for dating older men.
Well, not everyone was team Vusi with some people slamming him for using Zodwa’s name to get ahead-considering they are not together anymore. Some women understood Zodwa’s pain of being scammed by a former lover even The Queen actress Sibu Jili has opened about being in a similar situation to Zodwa.
Sibu who joined the popular Mzansi Magic telenovela this year, in her interview with Drum magazine shares that before landing the role she had fallen on some tough times and how her role as Georgina on The Queen was a “clean start” for her.
Amongst the hardships she went through, Sibu had trouble in the love department.
Last year, she was in a toxic relationship that left her very heartbroken, the actress explained to Drum that. “I dated a scammer basically. He pretended to be a pilot and promised me the world. I was in a dark place. What Zodwa Wabantu might be going through, I’ve been there,“ the actress told the publication.
Both women may have been left scorned by the men they loved but one thing for sure is that heartbreak has not stopped them from winning in life. Sibu may have ended up losing her job on Isibaya but she landed a role on The Queen, which was something she really wanted and as for Zodwa, she has not given up on love.
Zodwa has been dropping hints on social media that she has found herself a new bae and she is one happy woman with her new partner, who resides in Johannesburg and has been treating her well.
Whilst Zodwa has not revealed the identity of her man on social media yet, but she has not been shy to talk about him when it comes to her captions.
