Zodwa Reflects On 2019 Birthday Celebration
Zodwa Wabantu was celebrating a huge milestone as the controversial personality ushered in the big 3-5, this past Friday, 9 October 2020. But all baby girl could think about, is how times have changed.
On her actual birthday, Zodwa instead of honoring the day with a touching message on how the future looks so bright, and reflecting on how much she has achieved in a short period of time since attaining fame. The star opted to take us on a road down memory lane, by sharing what she was doing in 2019 when she entered into the last year of her early thirties.
The video that she posted has no sound, but we see the star getting pampered as the bell-of-ball. The video features two men that are busy making sure that in the great words of Bonang; hair, nails, and dress are all just right.
However, for those in the know, understand that things were completely different when Zodwa was celebrating the big day. And it seems that tweeps did know and would not let the good sis forget how much of a difference a year makes in ones life.
A year ago, Zodwa was happily in a relationship with her second official Ben-10, Vusi Ngubane. The couple had official come out as an item. And at the height of the that love-lives-here situation we could not believe how lucky a girl can get. Think about, two successful Ben-10 relationships in front of the whole country watching. But as we all now know, that kwa-love-lives-here, quickly turned into what we all know now as umjolo-uyany*s*.

The tragic turn of events between Zodwa and Vusi are well documented, so there is no need to go there. But tweeps clearly did not mind going there, as they used the special day for baby girl to remind her how much times have changed. Tweeps and trolls used the fact that she was trending for her birthday, and the now viral social media challenge of how-it-started versus how-it-is-going challenge to show that Zodwa has gone through it in the past year.
